On this date in 1982, Red Alert released their third single, "City Invasion". It was backed by "Negative Reaction". Neither track appeared on their debut album, We've Got The Power. The Sunderland, England Oi! band disbanded in 1983 after three singles and one album. They re-formed in 1990 and have released new material.
