On this date in 1977, PVC2 released their debut single, "Put You In The Picture". It was backed by "Deranged, Demented And Free" and "Pain". The Glasgow, Scotland punk band was really the one-off alias of pop band Slik, led by Midge Ure. This was their only PVC2 release and Midge Ure moved on to front Rich Kids and, later, Ultravox.
