On this date in 1979, Family Fodder released their debut single, "Playing Golf (With My Flesh Crawling). It was backed by "My Baby Takes Valium". Neither track appeared on an album. The London post punk band was a collective of ever-changing musicians (there were fifteen "band members" on their debut album). They disbanded in 1983 after two albums but have re-formed periodically to record new music.
